2011 fx4 ecoboost to raptor conversion built
Had to join the forum to say good luck! I picked up a 2013 5'5 F150 XLT Eco that's I'm doing a "poor mans" Eco raptor. Managed to procure all OEM raptor parts for $6700. Everything should be bolt on as a far as I'm concerned. Hate working with fiberglass so worth the extra cost for true fit.
This will be one interesting one too! Good luck in your new project!
Mine will still need some time and patience for all those "bolt-on" additions when getting back from the paint shop!
Just saw a "Like New" Raptor bumper & skid plate on Craiglist for $300. I have purchased the Raptor skid plate brackets only. PM me if you're interested.

hey, jumping into this forum a little late but Ive gotta ask.
do the oem raptor bumpers bolt onto nonraptor 09-14 models without altering the brackets or doing anything other than bolting them in?
btw love your work, youve inspired me to save up and change my trucks body into a raptor, and maybe in the later future the engine

Thank's for asking!!
My Project is progressing...
Will take some pictures this weekend for the update!
Still not finished yet, perhaps, I'm on the final touch, not far from the end!
Stay tuned!

Message to Ekusa:
Yes the Raptor bumper will bolt on exactly at same place than the original bumper, perhaps it is 3.5" wider each side. It will only match with the OEM Raptor or aftermarket front fenders & the Raptor upper bumper cover that are wider.
On my side I had to cut one inch of the OEM Raptor bumper each side. Since I purchased aftermarket fiberglass front fenders, I wasn't informed that those were made for 37" tire clearance. So the sides bumper have to be grinder to be flush with those new fenders...

CuylerTech,
How your project is going so far?
Were you able to put a hand on your OEM Raptor front end?
On my side, I was lucky to find a complete front end (upper bumper, hood & grill) from salvage in perfect condition. I also found the front bumper, skid plate & the running boards (side steps) from a guy that upgraded his new Raptor with a complete kit from Addictive Desert Design.
Concerning the OEM Raptor front fenders, they are made of Fiberglass, perhaps the rear one's are in steel. I have purchased mines from aftermarket and they are all fiberglass. I needed a LARGE amount of time ( and patience!) to properly fit them to the body.
Good luck!
