Haha, true. They did it with the 6.2, just check the raptor forums. Someone added a blower, and KABAMM... no more motor.

I'd say the stock internals on an ecoboost have to be pretty beefy in order to put up with the **** we put them through, but there is a limit.

Thats how it should be, someone has to do it.....I had a good friend be the first one several years ago) to push his SVT Focus motor to nearly 400hp on stock internals before it popped!

Im anxious to see what this motor can do!

My guess is 475 rwhp 575 Rwtq and we will have the first one let go. That is just a guess though

I talked to a shop owner in Seattle this last week. He told me that ford had sent another shop owner a 3.5EB (from SHO) and was told to blow it up. He told me that they stretched over 1000hp from it before they lost fuel and popped it. There was talk of cam timing/phasing issues with the fuel pump and that once they figure it out, there should be about 30% more fuel available (50% more injector pulse time). Something like that .

More likely they.....ran out of fuel from the HPFP, just like the MZRs. Once high flow fuel pumps/internals are out the sky will be the limit on these bad boys.

Maybe the EB is the new 2JZGTE

Or maybe all this hearsay is

One thing I love is how the 5.0 guys are drifting off and not causing as much crap now that we have 2 tuners putting down the power that we are.
