I got torque all setup on my phone today and will get some good logs tonight but so far based on dicking around it seems as though the 87 tune only runs about 12-13 psi of boost at about 9 degrees of timing and an 11.3 afr. Ultra safe in my book...

Nice I am getting the same setup and 11.3 is crazy rich and very safe may explain why some people are losing some mpg's but the average person not wanting to tinker with a tune and have longevity in mind that is a very safe setup

Yes that's exactly why SCT sets up the 87 tune since its what the bulk of people run. Id be curious to see how the 93 measures over time like that as well.

Crazy rich? Not hardly. It's still got cast pistons.

got on the phone with SCT this afternoon. Hooked up the SF3, ECU Unsupported. Tech Rep walked me though a few things. Getting vehicle info with the tuner etc.... Took the tuner back into my office, he remoted into my pc, loaded a file in my tuner as a custom tune ( now I have one less spot for a custom tune) and I tried again. Worked perfectly.

I have to say, There is a notable difference on the 93 tune. I only use 93 octane in my truck. Hard to do a 2k launch without losing traction. Pulls strong all the way up to 90.

I'm going to reset my mileage tomorrow morning and see how it affects my mpg. Next week I'm going to purchase 4 pulls on a dyno and run stock, 87, 89 and 93 and see where we end up. I'll post numbers as soon as I get them.

I'm going to grab some 93 octane logs tomorrow once I get this monster 36 gal tank emptied

Here is a quick video I just took. Sorry about the really crappy quality, I couldn't find the suction mount for my GoPro so I used my cell phone.

As you can see in the video, brake boosting the truck is impossible now on the street....even lightly. Just lights up the tire through the gears.

The second part of the video I just stomped the gas from a stop.....the tire was nice and warm at this point so no spinning. Usually from a stop like that it will go, then after about 30 feet or so and after the boost builds, the tire will break loose a bit, then it will shift and chirp 2nd.

0-100 MPH

Ok slightly dramatic with crazy rich but there is definitely room to be more aggressive with a 11.3 AFR, and I do keep forgetting that the pistons are cast as my 335 had forged from the factory, thanks for the heads up but I don't think I'm going to lose sleep or even worry with those settings for this tune. What AFR readings are you getting from the livernois tune
