Looks like I might need this. No real shudder problem, but it does have a huge lag sometime. But the MPG thing is huge.

I'm currently at the stealership and the advisor kinda shrugged it off. He told me that for the transmission issue, they will remove the driveshaft and relubricate it.

Have a 2012 Lariat born on 12/4/11, had the TSB done last night to address rough idle and surging (especially when first starting), it appears that this has resolved these issues, but now my reverse camera reference lines and proximity indicators are gone.

Damn!

Sounds like the people that did have the shudder disappear (not me) from the tsb are getting the shudder back after a few hundred miles. Is this from the tranny learning again and then it comes back?.

Following closely: My 2012 only has about 700 miles on it, but I notice black soot exhaust dripping when first started and poor MPG (avg about 13.5 in town even when VERY light on the throttle).

It'll get better give it time to break in.

This happened to mine as well. Its back at the dealership for this and other issues as the TSB reflash is a complete and total failure.

Had the TSB 12-02-12 done on Saturday. On my drive home felt that the transmission shifted much better and notice a big improvement in my L/100km after resetting was 12L/100km. Stopped for fuel 1/2 hour later and noticed that the DTE was 100 km more than past fills. Reset the instant fuel monitor and since then I’m averaging 17.5L/100km (not happy). The shudder at first was not noticeable; however after driving it the last couple of days I can still feel it on certain hill. To the most part the shudder has improved. I'm still not convinced that this is the final fix. Also was wondering what ford is going to do with the moisture in the air charging system that was causing shudder before!!! So far I’ve had a coil replaced on left bank, all new injectors, water removed from the intercooler, and TSB 12-02-12. What's next ford?

That sucks!

I'm wondering, for the people that are planning on tuning their EB with _______ (fill in the blank, Superchips, 5Star, Livernois, etc), wouldn't the TSB be nullified by reflashing with an aftermarket tune?

I was thinking about taking mine in, but I'm going to flash it when 5Star is out, so I held off.

I think that can be fixed in settings when you have the camera engaged. If I remember right, I think there is a settings in the lower left corner when you have the camera on?? Yes! Just went out and checked. Touch the settings in lower left corner of picture and you will open window. Shows guidelines as either fixed or not shown. Check the fixed box and you are set to go!! Hope this helps you and your TSB stays good. I am going in tomorrow @ 10:30 for update.
