I have a 2013 F150 Platinum ecoboost. I just installed a hypertech tuner and now the power running boards do not work. I took the tune out and returned to stock and still not working. I checked the fuse and it is good. Anyone have any ideas?

An Edge Evo can not have a custom tune on it until it is modified into a Gryphon, The Edge CS and CTS can no longer be outfitted with custom tunes period.

Default switching modes 87 to 89

If I were to run my 87 octane outta my tank , say down to a 1/4 tank and fuel it all the way up with 89 octane and tune it to 89 octane , would that screw up my truck ? Or run the gas down as far as I could and re fuel with the 89 and set the tune to 89 after ?

I would run it down to 1/4 tank and fill it with 91...then 89 after that.

Did you get this fixed? Same thing happened to me - I just went back in my menu on the dash and turned power running boards back on.

Default True or False?

Visited a local performance shop and inquired about a tuner for my '14, they told me to hold off till the warranty was out. Said that the dealerships can now see cookies from a tuner. Even if you bring it back to factory settings before you carry your vehicle in for any type of work, when they scan the cookies from tuner will pop up and they have all they need to deny warranty work. Anyone else heard this or concerned about it?
