Hey guys- new member here. Just purchased a 2014 FX4 and had some upgrades done to it to include a Superchips programmer. 35 inch tires, S&B CAI, and Flowmaster exhaust. MPG is reading SUPER LOW-around 12-13 MPG when it was around 17 prior to my upgrades. Can anyone offer any advice? Thanks in advance!

It's the 5.0. Heard bad things about the turbos in the V6 going bad after a few years. Not really a mechanically inclined person, so I decided to play it safe. Also trying to learn, so any help will be greatly appreciated.

Did you update the tire size in the computer? That can throw the mpg off.

I was gonna say ecoboost I can help ya out but don't know much about the 5.0 I would go with what the other guy said and make sure your computer is calibrated to tire size. Or double check and hand calculate the mileage to see if there's a difference and then go from there

Yep- the guys at the offroad shop helped me get all that stuff dialed in. Tire size and speedometer and all that. Just unsure as to how my MPG went down after the CAI and exhaust.

Thanks! Didn't think to hand calculate since the computer ties all that stuff together and it's digital.

hey all, I'm looking at the sct itsx from 5star... any input good or bad on this tuner? I see a lot of love for sct, but nothing really about the itsx... ill also probably end up with 3-5 tunes from 5star...

also do the custom tunes replace the canned tunes? or are they still there after the custom tunes are put in?

You won't want to run a canned tuned if you purchase custom tow/street tunes, there really in no comparison and the 5star is known to be very reliable and not push there tunes too hard in the first place. I personally prefer the Livewire from SCT if going that route.

Okay so those with the SCT I currently have a Superchips tuner I am no longer using very disappointed with it making some engine noises I contacted some of the SCT and it threw some number at me like 110 horsepower and 200 torque.. who do I need to contact to give me actual believable numbers I have a 2010 5.4Ford F 150 SuperCrew Platinum with a Topper with AFE Cai I'm running 35 Toyo AT 2 extreme rated E and I have a MagnaFlow Cat-Back exhaust single outlet 3 inch. Thanks everyone here's the enclosed email they sent me I've not seen this guy's name in any of the links that you guys talked about also when I asked about the HP and torque for an 87 program he said they do not List It
