This doesn't match your question exactly, but i did just finish installing the Rough Country E-Steps and they look pretty much exactly like the Ford versions I had on my previous truck. The write up is located here: https://www.fordraptorforum.com/thre...raptors.99006/
They are dual motor design and the brackets are pretty heavy duty - they also do not plug into the ODB port. Tax and all they were a little over $1k with free shipping directly from Rough Country.

It can be done, but you will have to build a harness and then do some coding with Forscan to get them working. I was interested in the same but decided to go the easier route, although certainly not cheaper...

I’m thinking about doing the same thing. My knees and back are starting to give me grief getting in and out of the truck. I love the Raptor, but I’m thinking power running boards and good quality mud flaps to keep the dirt knocked down from the sides.

Sounds like way more trouble than it’s worth. Aftermarket here I come. Thanks for the words of wisdom.

I've had my '22 for about a year now. I had the dealer's body shop install AMP Power Steps on mine before I picked it up. They have an adapter that plugs into the OBD port. Love'em. The 3rd F150 I've had them on. Just lube them a couple times a year (I use Fluid Film)...

i bought the amp running boards for my 2020. I suggests opening the motor case of the steps and sealing it with some sort of silicone in order for the water not to get in. In my case salt from winter as they will seize up
