F150 Lariat power running boards on a Raptor
Hey all, has anyone put factory power running boards off a F150 Lariat or Limited on a Raptor? If so, what is required?

This doesn't match your question exactly, but i did just finish installing the Rough Country E-Steps and they look pretty much exactly like the Ford versions I had on my previous truck. The write up is located here: https://www.fordraptorforum.com/thre...raptors.99006/
They are dual motor design and the brackets are pretty heavy duty - they also do not plug into the ODB port. Tax and all they were a little over $1k with free shipping directly from Rough Country. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.f15...6b1bf645af.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.f15...c8e93277fc.jpg |
Thanks for the info. I own a Lariat and was considering removing the factory powered running boards to install them on the Raptor I’m buying.

It can be done, but you will have to build a harness and then do some coding with Forscan to get them working. I was interested in the same but decided to go the easier route, although certainly not cheaper...

I've had my '22 for about a year now. I had the dealer's body shop install AMP Power Steps on mine before I picked it up. They have an adapter that plugs into the OBD port. Love'em. The 3rd F150 I've had them on. Just lube them a couple times a year (I use Fluid Film)...

Why?

i bought the amp running boards for my 2020. I suggests opening the motor case of the steps and sealing it with some sort of silicone in order for the water not to get in. In my case salt from winter as they will seize up
