Thanks. That did help just confirmed what I was thinking. New to replace the upper plenum gasket after all. Least I don't have a vac leak found and fixed that lol. Well I know what ill e doin this coming weekend. Lol.

After this weekend ill have a solid rear window and trim to sell. Just wanna sell it for what I got the slider for plus butyl tape cost.

Also disconnected third brake light and took out wiring don't need it. And no use for cargo lights with a hard tonneau cover. Goin touch up a few things do a bit of customizing to headliner and then put all back In by Monday. Also will have the new upper plenum gasket and bolts in this weekend also. Then off to truck show Monday.

On a side question is there anyway to remove these stickers off the sun visors???,

Well have headliner down so decides to insulate and soundproof roof.

 

Today is wash wax polish detail truck day. Gotta get truck ready for crusin and shows this weekend. Wow it's been forever since I did it this good. Last summer. It needs it bad. Good thing about white it don't show dirt until u wash it and then WOWO it was dirty lol.

 

How I'd you pull it down? I have a couple old radio antenna holes in my roof I need to repair and didn't know how to pull it down although I love the idea of soundproofing a bit lol

 

To take it down. First ya gotta take grab handles off then both a pillar cover pieces. Also need to take the sun visors down and the done light too plus the coat hooks near back. Then (if it's a reg can) take the corner cab pieces off. Gotta take the seat belt too unbolt it to get these off. That should be it. And headliner comes down.

Found something interesting just now. The rear window trim for 97-98 the bolt pattern is different from 99 and up. Painted the rear window trim and can't use it errrrrrr.
