We just took old converters to the recycler and showed our mechanics' license.
We took receipts the 1st time but didn't need them.
This was over 10 years ago though.

Natural Ventures says they'll take my car batteries, alternators, scrap parts without issue though. How do they know I didn't steal that too? LOL

I saw a bunch of warnings during the Broncos game yesterday - we got the channel 4 broadcast from Denver.

 

On the back of my HF multimeter....



I noticed this right as I was removing the screws to swap in a new 9V. Whew! That was close!

 

I'm glad you saw the warning, that could've been catastrophic!

 

At first, I was thinking this was going to be a hard no on the "easy disassembly" black RTV that Permatex started making. BUT, hear me out. I can't get a modled/steel core gasket for my Toyota trans pan. I had our Transtar rep try and hunt something down for me, and paper/cork/rubber are my options. All of which start leaking by the time the year has passed in which I change it. So, I'm thinking I'll give this stuff a whirl in conjunction with the rubber gasket you get with a WIX.

 

I just disabled the TPM system on my Buddy's F350.

I really ought to start doing this stuff on the side. It's a nice little business if you have the stuff...
