The PDR adjuster was broken..plastic. 12" zip tie worked for a temp hold it for now.

This picture, strangely enough, came up in my "last year on this date" in Amazon photos. One year ago today I fixed the positive cable down on the starter. Today, I ran a completely new ground (courtesy of my Fox Body part hoard).

I took a 40 grit flap disc to the corner of the motor mount. It worked perfect for getting a socket on there.

It's all back together again. I also figured I may as well put one of my brand new O2 sensors in there while I was in the neighborhood. It looks like it'd be a real 8!tc4 to get to otherwise.

I also decided to not use the DNJ gaskets, and ordered Mahle's - as that was apparently what Ford used at some point. I took off MLS gaskets with a Ford P/N though.

Ford OEM for these modulars motors are metal triple gaskets.. Haven't seen anything else yet.

But I've used Pacesetter cheapy gaskets and Mr Gasket triples and never had any leaks. You just have to remember to torque from the center out..does the trick

You're talented with a flapper ehhh... Looking good white!

That's what I wanted to get, but I didn't want to wait until Monday. I knew Mahle was going to be good, no matter which design I used.

EDIT: Yeah, that's exactly what came off of it. When I read "OE Equivalent", I thought they'd be MLS too. They have a metal core, but graphite outer layers.

I'll get a pic of what I pulled off there.... they have a Ford P/N, but they are one piece, similar to what I got.
