That sucks, Brew. My Buddy had a whole elk in a freezer that croaked. That prompted me to buy a new one to replace my old 80's freezer (my grandparents bought it new). I feel for you Bro...

Not that big of deal...yet! That ones only about 4 years old, I'll check it out in the morning. I cooked up the meat, didn't want to freeze it again..My sweety grabbed the fixins from the market, we made it into Taco Saturday. Not much left. The fridge was out too, didn't realize that at first because the lights were working and it seemed cool in there. I imagine there's internal fuses in that thing, the breaker wasn't tripped. We emptied the garage fridge and freezer out, mostly beverages, threw out stuff that's been in there for awhile. What sucked, we've been on a shrimp kick lately for card night..we were looking forward to that. Shrimp Kabobs over grilled charcoal, got a new charcoal grill, what a difference vs propane...tasty!

But jeezz a whole elk! Man what a bummer that would be. You Grandparents have one of those old chest freezers ? Have one of those as well, just not here...it's small though and not quite that old, but it's always worked.

Well Ohio I went to respond and the thread was closed LOL

Hope he posts up pics when it's done tho. It's his truck so he can do what he wants. Some people won't like it and some people will. That's the beauty of life; everyone can have different opinions.

It's also funny how the ones that jump to name calling, saying you're a snowflake, and making the biggest fuss outta things are usually the ones that are most upset and causing the most issues.

Yeah, that was probably my fault I hit "report" on that last bit of drivel.

On a side note, it looks like the OP somehow changed his username mid-stream?

Haha no worries, that's what the button is there for! Seems like there's been an influx of new users lately and there's quite a few giving a bad rep to the rest. Also noticed a lot of new people post up in the general thread. I was inviting them back to our corner for better help but I've stopped now cz I can't deal with the others. Lol

And I thought it was weird when bama started replying as OP. I didn't think he was the OP but couldn't remember the username.

At least my "Bet" post will live on. (Is it wrong to laugh at your own stuff?)

This is what happens when certain vehicles become affordable to the "young-uns." It happened with the ricer crowd, with new-owner know-it-alls slapping 35-series tires on too-narrow wheels, cutting springs, and installing glow kits, ground-effects, wings, and fart cans. Why should trucks be any different?

Not at all, that's how you know it's really funny

And yes that's so true. I almost want to get a different truck cz round here lately it seems like it's mostly skylar kids with 10th gens and I don't want to be lumped in with that crowd. It's a shame cz I really like the 10th gen body.... maybe just more motivation to get my Highboy up and running
