Ahhh! Yup.
I recall a sticker on many Fords some years back, ~ "No more than 10% of this vehicle made in Canada."

Edit: I never minded throwing a lil country a bone, if they were sorta decent, and struggling. But we really aren't adequately self sufficient. So I'm with ya.

I decided it's time to buy a new compressor for the F150. Now to find a flush kit.

Kit? I use Prestone's flush, with water. It comes in something like 28 & 32 oz. Two might be required they say. (They want to sell it. I use one, but do this two times.) It' gentle, so you can leave it in a bit, if your nights are not freezing. It's citric acid, a safe food addictive. I do pull my block drain (& use Teflon tape on later.) Ford said they had a new plug, in Chicago. I got a brass plug from Home Depot. Clean block threads but not much as they have degraded. Refill with lifetime antifreeze and distilled water.

Hahahaha! I had read this as two dif subjects in one post. Hahahaha!

My guy's drain and refill somehow cleaned the AC system when I had him do mine. He said I didn't need a new dryer at all, but what the heck. 20+ years, already doing the rest. I did that too.

I watched. The oil that vacuumed out was not too dirty at all. Maybe the 30 oz I put in that lasted 3 days helped cleanse/flush the system.

Uhhhhh yeah, water shouldn't be anywhere near the inside of your A/C lines. I think you're confused with the heater core.

I ordered this, and a bottle of solvent.

Dude.... WTF? Why the hell are the FL1A's so damn much now? The FL-820S remains low.
