yea stuff rots here pretty good as well, nothing like that up there though. you see almost no 97-03s up here because they rot so bad they fail inspection

Found an old vid of me port matching the lower intake of the 98 on google, it was like 15 years ago, -

https://photos.google.com/photo/AF1Q...ubgVdJ5hxaL9D-

This was just the homemade vac system I came up with while doing so lol

I already had the upper ported, polished and knifed sitting on the other bench in the vid. I did the throttle body as well. Guess I figured I might as well match the lower.

The crazy stuff I exposed that thing to back then.

You don't see very many here either, that aren't falling apart anyway. If we had inspection here, the 98 might fail I expect. Well it would right now due to the right header rusting through. The headers are only 2 - 3 years old but they were mild steel, they rusted just sitting. The old headers lasted 10 years, those were aluminized steel.

Soooo...

What I'm hearing is that there is a possibility that a very rust free 97 might get more $$ up north?

Or would it sell for less as nobody would expect something that old to be any way nice?
