Rus's truck has one. As does mine. the only thing that needs to change is the driver side mount to engage the close assist spring. Rest assured they will fit. any talgate from 99 to present will fit, But 08+ will require a new driver side tail gate mount.

The superduty tailgates won't fit on your SCREW. You have the same tailgate as the stepside trucks. They are much narrower than the styleside models.

Don't know for sure if you are wanting to try a '10+ f150 tailgate or not, but I am pretty sure they wont work either because the bedsides are alot taller than on our trucks.

I know the super duty tailgates will not fit my truck but I was wanting to try the f150 2010+ tailgates to see if it worked cuz I would really like a step tailgate to help people get in the bed of my truck. it would help alot when we tailgate and hang at the barn an people getting in an out of my bed. especially with Mardi gras coming up an me livin 10mins outside new Orleans and ill deff be going
