Default Steering

Steering wheel all of a sudden got really hard to turn and made a popping noise inside the cab don't pop anymore but still really hard to turn any guesses on what it could be

Could be your booster or a busted seal inside the steering gear box.

But would that make it pop inside the cab the steering wheel it's self moves up and down like there is something broke in the column

Not really but need to be check have someone turn wheel back and forth Whin you're under the dash looking up column shaft to see if there's any play in the cv joint like connector
