Default Squealing sound?

I turned my truck on today and heard a squealing sound that sounded like a belt.. Popped the hood and I saw that the hose leading to my air compresser was soaked.. What is wrong?

When mine started squealing I thought it was the compressor also but it was actually the fan clutch, best way to check it is with a stethoscope

What could be causing the noise?

Talked to a mechanic on the phone and he said the hoses are supposed to be wet sometimes.. So what can be the squealing? Belt? Pulley?

is it constant or intermittent. if its a belt putting a little WD40 on it will stop it temporarily

You can spray water on it to change the pitch of the noise.
