Ah, I just bought the Doorman replacement part about 2 hours ago, should be here by the end of the week.

tell us how big of a pain in the *** it is to fix I might get a replacement. One guy managed to make a metal one so it will not break again.

I used zip tie it is cheap and it works just the same. And probly last longer.

Cheaper? Yep. Works the same? Yep. Last longer? Hmmm... Mine broke at 12 years and 181,000 miles. I'd be happy with the same. I'm just a bit more nit picky with what I do to mine.
