Default Rust cab corner

Got rocker and cab corner coming from raybuck. Quick question. I haven't delved into it yet and just glancing at the pick I took and the pic of the cab corner on raybuck I was thinking. Am I going to have to move the bed back to put that cab corner panel in?
I've not done that before. Is there enough slack in the wires and such to unbolt the bed and shift it back far enough to get the panel replaced or will it need to be completely removed? Thanks

Have not done it myself but have read that others found it easier to do with the bed removed. You can probably lift the bed high enough to make room without having to undo much of the wiring.

The wiring is no big deal. one plug by the spare tire and the two tag lights. That is it.

Didn't turn out too bad. Two of the eight gave me trouble. Had to splits the nuts from under but access is okay to do so.

I wasn't about to crawl under mine, lazy lol. I took the tops off first..then cut the rest once the bed was up in the air.

Yeah kind of dirty crawling around under it but I figured it would be faster for me. On top I'd have to be careful not to cut my bed. Under I could just make quick cuts with the grinder and not have to be too worried about being careful.

Right, yea , can't use a cut off up top, that's for sure. I used a drill bit (M42) so it was quick. I used a cut off once the bed was removed. All mine had to be cut, every one since the bolt threads were filled solid with rust lol. Couldn't tell those bolts had threads on a few of them...caked with rust.

This job is in my future. Remove bed, seats, door skins - weld weld weld - put back together for next plowing season.
