Got the fuel pump replacement done. The bed was sure in there tight. Y'all ain't gonna beleive this, but I had to use vaseline on the lower part of the front sides of the body so the bed would squeeze in without scraping up the lower edges too bad. May be another way to do it....I dunno. Anyway it's all buttoned up......new plugs, new Denso coil paks and new fuel pump. Running good too..I made the fuel discharge line off the tank from fuel inj tubing (2 sizes), quick connects (2 sizes) and a copper tubing adapter...3/8" to 5/16' that I silver soldered up....thanks for all the help.....Pete

If I ever need to remove my bed, it's going to be a huge PITA. It has a bedliner that's around 3/8" to 1/2" thick everywhere, including over the bed bolts.

Holy moley, that's thick!!! You're going to be better off just getting a cobalt 1/2 bit, and drilling off the heads, White. Fortunately, they took the bolts out, blocked the holes, and then put them back in on the '99. (At least I assume that's what was done.)

Yeah... it's pretty solid. I really like it... except for the bolt issue of course.

I was looking at my Buddy's Duramax that he did. I'm kind of thinking I'll some of that on my F150 below the belt line after I repair the rust spots. I think he used the Raptor stuff. I need to ask him again.
