PCM swap
There is one bolt at the firewall, pax side, that holds the wire harness to the pcm. Remove it and unplug. then take off bracket behind pax kick panel that holds the PCM. The PCM then comes right out. that said, if all is working why would you want to remove the PCM? If you don't install a new one exactly like the one you have, your truck won't run.
Hello guys, first time posting,
I own a F150 4.2 V6 manual tranny (love it). I have some issues and decide to get a new ECM, at this point i found that my truck is using one from another model and year. Could I find mine from VIN?
