Default Recall?

My dad just got a recall on his 03 for gas tank and straps being faulty in a colision..? What years do these include?

If he has a paper then he is under the recall take it to the local ford dealer show them the paper and they should be able to get to or set up an appt and it only took lke 1.5 hours 2 max if ya got skid plates like I do

it should be for the whole generation. (97-03) and the dealer told me it would take half a day sometimes a whole day. Its asked that you bring your truck in with atleast a 1/4 tank of gas.

Heck I went in with 3/4 tank and sat in the waiting roo. For about. Hour and 45 and they was done

well then those ****ers lied to me didnt they. i still havent taken mine in yet. i work mon-fri from 8am to whenever we get back, sometimes midnight. saturday would be the only day i could take it in but i have school fom 8am to 4pm and they close at 1pm lol. They told me it would take up to a whole day. offered me a rental car but thats too damn expensive.

I went with a full tank (I had just filled up on the way) and it took them about 45 minutes. Very quick and easy
