Ok, little update. The guy on CL sold his radio, and the scrap yard wants 35 dollars for a stock radio. Really? For 75 I can have car toys install one similar in style to mine, I don't care either way but to me 35 for a stock radio out of a junk yard with no warranty is a tad bit high lol.
As for the turn signals, I went threw the wiring, everything is fine and is getting power so I did my wiggle and bang test, and I can get them to come on for a few blinks. When we installed these lights, the obviously didn't use the same harness for the stock light so we cut that out Any going back from that? I'm going to contact the company I bought these from and see if they'll send me some replacements for free. If not, I'd like to do it right (I guess the third time around I may as well do it right lol) and just get the Harley lights, but I'm not sure about the harness issue. In theory I could just run over the the scrap yard, cut out the plug in, and splice it into my truck, right?

Yes to the plug idea. Butt splices or solder and some electrical tape.
Alright, so I stopped looking a the radio beings that I have no idea what I'm looking at. I was playing around with the wires for the turn signal to see what is happening when the lights come on. The hole was a little too small to look through so I broke a few pieces off and now I know what's going on lol.
There are 3 wires that come from the truck into the light, black, red, and white. When I pull the red wire it touches the black wire a little harder and all the lights come on. Anyway to make a better connection there? I half soldering wire, but no gun lol.

butt connectors or just cut twist and wrap with electrical tape.
I can't get in there with my hands, it's in the housing and IDK how to take the housing off (it's glued on).
I did find my old hot stick (burning iron thing for burning wood), I tried to solder together a couple scrap wired and it worked, but the solder wire wants to stick to the stick so I have to kinda squeeze it out, or put so much on there it starts dropping off. The wires that need to be connected are deep in the housing and I'm afraid of burning the other wires or other parts in there.
I should also clarify on the wired, there are the three wires that go into the light, but inside the light its self is another couple of wires, and the black wire in there needs to be touching the red wire that comes into the light from the truck.
Alright, so I ended up breaking off some of the plastic piece so I could see what I'm doing in there. I decided I'll take a lighter and melt the solder wire and hope it goes in the right spot. After making a big huge mess, I finally got a good solid connection but still, nothing.
Pissed off, I was cleaning up the solder mess and I noticed that this little circuit board thing was really loose so I tried tightening the screw, and nothing. It was stripped out. I went to take it out to see if it was the screw or what the screw was going into was stripped and it dropped in the light. Now no lights on this side will come on. I decided to say screw it and tried to find a small enough screw and I couldn't, so I ended up with one that was kinda small in length, but too thick. I figured if it breaks it, it breaks it, I'll just go get the right lights tomorrow. I screw it in there, and it got in there pretty far, then stopped so it's sticking up pretty far (you can't tell by the picture), but this board is now solid. Just like magic, this side is kinda sorta fixed.
Some of you may notice this screw as being a drawer guide screw lol. Probably not the best for automotive use, but this is just temporary until I can get the right lights.
EDIT:
Also I'm probably just going to go to car toys for the stereo tomorrow.

Car toys can't get me in until next week, so it's looks like I'm going to make a long quiet trip down South to the other scrap yard. Can I take a stock stereo out of any 1997 - 2003 F-150 or Expedition, or is it just the F-150's? Does a higher trim package have a different harness (would a Lariat have a different harness than an XL?)
