How in the hell did you get a superduty tailgate and brake lights to fit an f150?

Our straight side beds are the same tailgate and tail light wise as a SuperDuty.

Wow I did not know that. Are they the same dimensions for the 04-08's? I know the tail lights aren't but what about the tail gate?

I agree. But it is what it is.
Same way people have been hanging air fresheners from rear-view mirrors for as long as they have made air fresheners.
Hell thats what they were designed for - the rear view mirror - thats obstruction of view and people get pulled over for it all the time now.
It's just an opening to initiate contact in the hopes it will lead to bigger things.

Serve and protect(their jobs).

No the tailgate is shaped differently, nothing would line up.
