Hi, I have an 01 supercrew and the passenger window will go down but not up. Replaced passenger switch and still same prob. If i switch the 2 wires that go to the motor and press the down button, the window will go up...Any suggestions???

it depends if the problem is in the switch. If it is then it should work But it could be a bad wire somewhere else. Try the passenger switch to the wires for the passenger side window in the driver door you could have a bad switch over there.

Default checked driver switch

Same thing from driver side, passenger window will go down but not up...driver window works fine...When I cross the wires at the motor, the window will go UP by pressing the DOWN button but won't go down at all(exact reverse of problem) any wiring diagrams will help.. Does the motor ground itself, or is it grounded thru switch? Might be losing a ground...

Did a little research for my 02. Both switches are in series with each other, as I see it. Drivers door RH window switch and pass door RH window switch are in series with each other utilizing the center (not actuated position). Best if you go here: www.search.ebscohost.com
USER: greatfalls
PASS: publiclibrary

Select auto repair, year, make etc..

Good luck, I printed every page for my 02
