Default Off-Road Lights

I love the look of off-road lights behind the grill. Anyone have install pics or know of a build thread with the information on how to mount and wire them?

LED's will be less power consuming, considering you dont have a 300amp alt or a double battery. LED's will also be brighter in comparison to HID's like 6" or 10" round lights. They have a better light output per lumen price wise than round lights too.

In the long run, go with an LED bar if you want 50,000 life expectancy and better performance for cost per lumen.

Depends what type of off-road lights you want. There are many different types. Specify which and I'm sure someone can help

I have two 6 inch kc slimlights behind my grill and love them! I installed mostly by myself so I can answer any install and wiring questions.

there is a support bar that runs horizontal to the grill and you can drill into it and mount them there. im not too sure what its made of, maybe thin fiberglass or some kind or resin but it will hold up. Your going to need to use big washers though to distribute the stress that torqing down on the bolts will apply.

your gonna want to mount them on the bar directly under the lights.

What did you use to measure off of for the correct spacing

Just use the center bar and go however far off of that on both sides
