I hit a deer A while ago and this box broke. I just wanna know what it does? It's above the oil filter behind the bumper

It's not the crash sensors there behind this on the back of the bumper brackets. I think it's my daytime running light board or something.

That is a Daytime Running Light Module. You can unplug it and have everything be OK except no DRL. I think the cost of that part is around $70 here in Canada-maybe less in U.S.

I hate DRL's. I have my uncle's old truck and he must have had it disconnected because I have never seen them on. But I'm pretty sure 2002's came standard with DRL's.
