My turn to ask something
I want to wire in my overhead console to my 98 F150 SCab. I have the console, with info reader, but the consoles previous owner cut the plug off, so all I have is 6 wires coming from the motherboard, and can't find where they go. Each is black with no markings (of course).
I have added a new 6 wire molex connector (shown in the pictures) in place of the missing plug. BUT.....I'm not sure that these are in the correct order, so the plug could be off, that is why I need to find what each one of the 6 wires goes to. The new plug is stacked 3/3, like the original was, and I can move the plugs around as necessary if they are in the wrong holes. I guess the easiest way to say this is, where does each of the 6 wires at the console motherboard go to individually? Which is power, ground, etc.
The pictures shows the red probe pointing at the connector that I need the information on. I couldn't find it in my schematic so I'm hoping someone has the information, or one laying around they can look at. I have continuity on the second and fifth wires, so I'm assuming those to be - & +. I don't want to toast it before installing and using it. lol. Anyone?

I am assuming, after looking at other brands, that they are using the same board, with the same pinning for Ford, Dodge, Toyota at least. I didn't find any good info for the Chevys quick enough, so I gave up there.

Anyone got any more information? I'd like to install this on the weekend if I can get some information. Hopefully someone has one laying around and has the wiring attached to give me some info.

Come on guys. One of you has to have one of these that can give me the answer.
If you have one out, and it has the other half plug, you could give me the colors and what they work, and then look to which plug on the motherboard they go to, it would sure make this project a lot easier.

That would be so helpful. I've been going crazy trying to get the info. I've ran all my schematics, and can't find exactly what I need. I'd appreciate it if you can find that for me. Any chance you can post a couple pictures of the pinouts? Thanks.

Still hoping someone out there has this information. Anyone? Someone must has a console that isn't installed with the wiring on it?
