Default Missing trim needed

Hi all

I know this is in the wrong section but I don't have enough posts to be able to do a wanted ad

I have this piece of trim missing off the drivers side

Not sure what it's called and up to now I haven't found one in the UK so;

Do you have that part you would consider selling me? I would love the proper screws and little plug things for securing it to the bodywork as well.

Next would you consider shipping to the UK? obviously all cost met by me and I can paypal money across if easier.

Kind regards
Brian

It is called by Ford a stone shield. Left part number is F65Z-16G555-AC. Right is F65Z-16G554-AC.

Hi AK
I checked that part out and part number and not 100% sure it's right

That part seems to be part of a wheel arch extension where my bit is just a cover piece that screws up under the wing

The part number I gave you is the lower splash panel. It is #2 in the picture. You could no way in hell buy that arch panel for 16.00. The panel you are talking about (#1) is well over $100, so It could not be be that part. I pulled the number from my Ford parts factory manuals. I verified it this morning in my crash repair catalog.

It comes from years of practice in GM and Ford parts/service/warranty. I kept all my old books when they were changed out. I had to go into the dumpster to get a couple of Ford books to keep. Ford is very difficult to get books from. GM, not a problem. I've got many old GM parts manuals for the trucks, but the past couple years I've been giving them to guys. That said, I dislike GM parts/service/warranty with a passion. And, I spent 8.5 years doing GM.

Hi and thanks for replying, I must be missing something here [remember I'm new] No.2 doesn't look anything like the bit in my picture and No.1 isn't even fitted to my truck, is it?

Brian. Not all Fords have the wheel arch. That is more for 4x4's and such. Some packages use the wheel arch, but not all. The stone shield is used by all models, 2wd or 4wd. Look at the eBay link. It shows it quite well and it is what you are missing in your initial post.

Thanks for that what was confusing me was the crap pictures, bit's they show all look boxy? like they protrude from the body [something you might fit with wider wheels etc], mines just a skinny little bit that lays flat.

I wonder if I'll get free postage to the UK
