Default Making the switch

Ok fellas I'm making the move from mobil1 5/20 to royal purple 5/30. Will let you know if anything changes as far as hp and mpg. I'm not getting my hopes up just wanted to run a good oil.

I was told to run 5/30 in Colorado 5/20 is just a little thin for most people. I think I'm making a good decision. It wasn't as bad on the wallet either. $66 for oil, filter and had to throw in two matchbox cars for jr. Lol

You are gonna have to change that royal purple oil more often. It's a good oil but it is not made to last that long. In case you didn't already know.

I am a student a UTI for auto mechanics and my instructor just today was telling me how even though RP is a good oil, it's main design is for racing. The additives are designed to work better but they wear off faster.
