Leaf Springs
Alright guys, I'm looking at leaf springs, right now I have 5.5in blocks that I'm looking to get rid of and have leafs in to take the job, any brands, suggestions, or places to by would be greatly appreciated

I'm in the same boat, I just want to get rid of the factory block so I don't have 2 blocks though. I think I will get the springs out of a 250 ld from the junk yard, or get real lift springs from skyjacker or something.

Call up deaver and order a set. They are cheaper than buying any other brand and will ride better. You can even tell them how much lift you have and they will install the correct pinion shim to get the correct driveline angle.

I had a set of custom springs built by National Spring years ago on an old lifted Jeep J4000. They articulated fantastic. But you can't go wrong with [MENTION=76842]Carcrazygts2[/MENTION]'s advice.

Or any reputable spring shop, we have a couple around here that would build custom springs for 4-$500 for a set on these trucks... I got a quote of $380 for a set of custom rear springs for my other truck (Donovan spring, Londonderry NH)... better than $550 and I can pick em up....
