I would say do one or two aal's. The first usually add 2 inches depending on the shape of your leaf pack, and the second one another 1 to 2 again depending on the current condition. On top of this you could lift shackles. To get the total 5 inches your looking for, or even more. I don't remember how big of lift shackles are offered. I know a guy I knew did a 3 inch on his truck. And as for aal, I used pro comp in mine, and the long kind ride much better than short. Hope this helps

Dont do this. This the most assinine thing I've heard. So for about $100 more you could have custom leafs made and it would ride and perform 100x better.

I can imagine how stiff that would ride. Bet it would be like riding on a sheet of plywood sitting right on the axle! LOL.
