Default Interior lighting

I am going put some under the dash type led lighting in my buddy's 2002 . Neither of us have any knowledge on how to do this. My main question is where to hook the wiring up to? Also we where looking at maybe just a cheap eBay lighting kit unless anyone has any suggestions. The more details the better as well as pictures if anyone has any.

We just use the LED strips from autozone. There's a thread somewhere around here about it. I know the wire to hook them to if you want them to come on with the dome light is under the passenger side kick panel, the color is in that thread though and I don't remember

Oh yea a pic, I have a video in the other thread

Its just simpler to pull power from your cigarette lighter or something always hot and run it to a switch. That's how mine are.

Yeah they're like Alpena brand. I'm doing lights for friends some friends and I ordered rolls of lights off eBay idk how good they are yet I've mostly only used the autozone brand so far. I've done red and pink in vehicles as well

But after your done wiring it's so much simpler to just open the door and have them come on automatically. The hard part was wiring them to a switch to also hit with my subs
