It's a pain, but if you ever take your door panels off (to replace speakers, or lube window tracks), you can easily tap into the door light, and snake a wire into the cab alongside the existing door wire (an old wire hangar is great for this). LEDs draw so little current, that you won't blow a fuse, and you'll avoid having to wire in a switch). I did my cabin and doors in hyper white, and it's bright enough to not need the strip for the floor, but it's a great effect (I'll pass on the pink), and cheap to do,

You don't need to take the door panel off. Just the kick panel and door sills

I have a hot wire ran off my dome light, it was easier than pulling the door panel. I just never hooked a light to it. If I remember right it's the green with red tracer or center wire on the dome light that comes on only when the door is open

You know, that's a GREAT idea! I disassembled my dome light to hard solder a LED panel of lights left over form a Cadillac project, and could have easily added the 2 wires to it (since I was soldering anyway) and run that wire down the A-pillar and then under the dash. Great solution!

Like I said before. You can find that exact same wire from the dome under the passenger side kick panel which takes a whole 2 minutes to get to, just popping plastic off
