Default Installing CD player

Hello,

I just bought a new to me 03 F150, and it had a cassette player only. I have ordered a CD and Cassette player to replace the cassette player (I like being able to listen to CDs)

I have ordered a player like this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/200696386936...WNX:IT&vxp=mtr

So it should fit my F150 as this is one of the players 03 F150s could come with according to my owners manual

Does anyone know where I could find instructions on how to remove the old one and install the new one or be able to describe the process to me?

Thanks!

$130 for a used single disc radio? that expensive. why not just buy a new cd player like pioneer or sony and install it. youll be able to play mp3s on it as well and it looks nice.

heres a couple radios

I actually paid $78 for the used radio . . . . I wanted one which could do both CDs and cassettes as I get lots of both (I'm far to cheap and lazy to do mp3s, I just buy whatever strikes my fancy at Goodwill etc for 25 cents to a couple dollars for an entire tape/CD) . . . also I thought the stock cassette player looked really cool, so I didnt want to mess up the effect by buying one which was to different

. . . . . though it does occur to me I would have been smart to ask about radios before I ordered one, oops

I already paid for the radio though, and it will be delivered tomorrow, so thats the radio which is going in . . . . just would like advice / instructions on how to put it in (I'd if possible like to install it myself so I don't need to pay the Ford dealer)

go get you one of the removal tools for ford ( looks like a u). you can get them from wal-mart. push them into the holes on each side of your radio, to release the lock then the stereo will pull right out. unplug your wiring harness and antenna, hook it all back up to your new stereo and slide it back in place, pressing firmly to make sure it locks in.

shoot i used a really skinny screw driver and popped it in there. a coat hanger will even work.

Ditto, a coat hangar or a jewlers screwdriver set or whatever you call them to remove the old headunit.
