Just my .02 OP, do what you want man, its your truck and not ours. I do like the HID's in the 4k-6k range, but I want light where its needed, and not have it where its not. Nice man! Good thing about that is all those LED's probably use the same amount of power as 1 headlight lol!
yeah I gotcha but I've got my 32" led lightbar for off road just want some 6000k hids for a little better highway light thanks man

I would honestly just buy some LED headlight bubles, from a trusted retailer than do the HID conversion. HID's from prior experience are a PITA.

Anyways, i use my dually's for fog lights, and they are exceptional. Of course there aimed down quite a bit because I do city driving monday-friday

On the second one, if that's what you are referring too.
Yeah the first link are the ones you want.

Big green, I will put this in the simplest terms possible for you, since there seems to be some confusion.

Do not buy a plug and play HID kit.

The glare from them is a hazard to other drivers, wether they bother you or not.

The K rating of a bulb determines what color it is. The higher the number, the bluer the get, and dimmer they are. 10000k bulbs in reality are actually dimmer than factory bulbs

A hi/low kit is one bulb, and it is one color, it functions just like your factory bulb. It brightens with the high beams, but on that kind of kit the difference between beams is very minimal.

Purchase a set of LED bulbs like the ones in the first link posted by Aritat. The LED's will be a 6000k cool white color, with a slight tint of blue. These bulbs glare less than HID's and have a better concentration of light.
Here is the LED bulbs compared to stock in my buddy's 02 so you can see the difference.

If you don't mind, I would. I was wanting to switch my headlights over to hids but don't feel like doing the retro fit. What do you think of the out put vs stock. I am looking for something brighter, not just whiter. Also does anyone know if these have high beams. Also what brands/models are best light wise and price/quality. I think I would like to do the rears too, but my main concern is heads and fogs.

Hids don't increase light output distance wise, all they do is spread the light all around close to the truck so it just gives you the illusion that they're brighter and better than stock halogens. This illusion can he dangerous because you actually have less light output than stock with hids so you feel more confident at night driving which is where the danger factor comes in. Not to mention the fact that you'll be blinding oncoming traffic with hids in your reflector style headlight housings, and if that happens on the wrong road they might end up driving head on into you because you were being a jack *** and put Hids into headlights that aren't designed for them.

Some HID's are illegal for that reason. Its a known fact drunk drivers swerve twords light. Thats a bad mix with HID's in a reflector housing.
