Put it on the bulb before you put the fan on

They have a fan? Eww.
I have some LED low beams on my wifes car (H11 bulbs) that are fanless, they just have some finned heat sinks on it, which are not removable. That is the style I was wanting to get for the truck, so I guess those won't work.

Guess I need to keep saving for a HID retrofit.

Yeah the fans blow on the heat sinks. They worked great on my buddy's truck just didn't have near the distance as a retrofit on high beams

Get the CREE LEDs for your brake, reverse, and turn signal lights. They're the brightest LEDs you can get that are worth the price.

Reverse:

Brake:

Turn Signals:

And you'll need an LED flasher. Here's the one I got, haven't had any problems with it thus far.

And trust me, they're worth the price. Yes, I know they're more expensive, but you get what you pay for with LEDs. You pay for cheap LEDs, and you get cheap quality that will have more problems or not last as long as better quality more expensive ones.
