Depends, if you have a 99+ year truck then thats the right length, if you have a 97/98 then youll have to cut it down some

Just did the Gotts mod and silencer removal on my 1998 4.6.

Honest Opinion Guys dont hate me. Everyone may have different results...

First and foremost I only went around the block and WOT it for a few short runs its midnight. Nothing seems too different. I am told passing rpm is where ill see it most.

I am hoping for fuel mileage as well.. Mod was pretty straight forward. Use the thin wall of sewer flex tubing.

removing the silencer...

The only hard part is getting the flexable piece un-glued from the main body. after that I grabbe the silencer with a pair of pliers and had wifey hold the body it pop right out.. The noice is very little and if you have an exhaust like me you will barely hear it. I am taking the truck out tuesdayu and ill give her a few good runs...

When it warms up a bit more here and stays that way on a constant basis, I'll probably do the Gotts to see if I can tell a difference.
Right now, I'm running a CAI with a K&N filter.

Yesterday on the freeway I noticed it going to pass two lane highway. Felt like I had a manual hit the gas and it just went downshift boom pass. It was great.
