So just did the gotts mod to my truck and holy crap I never relized the response I would get out of it. Felt like a whole new truck. Only bs was makin the pvc pipe fit the hole it sucks when you only have a hand file.

if that's the mod for the DIY CAI I've read on this forum... yeah i'm DEFINITELY planning on doing that soon. With so many people on here having reactions like yours, i don't see how it would be a bad thing at all to try.

Do it bro took me forever because all home depot had in 3 inch was thick pvc andmaking it oblong was a pain took me longer then it should easy as hell if you have ever replaced an air filter.

What kind of changes did you see? I've been thinking about doing it but the last post i read said it was BS, so i said forget it. Better gas mileage and HP???

No idea on mpgs yet just did it. Here is way more throttle response and the truck definetly accelerating faster

The other plus is that it takes about 1/2 hour, costs about $3.00, and can be put back to stock just as easy.

There isn't really anything to lose by trying it.

Haha took me about and hour to shave that bastard of a pipe to the right shape and beat it in with a hammer Haha.

That's why I used the thin walled stuff. Just give it a squeeze with your hand and slide it in.

The only drawback was I had to buy a 12' section. I should cut it up and sell "Gott's Mod Tubing".
