U said that the actuator moving when u lock the truck in and out of fourwheel drive. But ur front tires never pull correct? If the actuator is working as stated then ur next step is inside the diff. There is a collar that the actuator moves side to side. Sometimes this coller breaks causeing the 4 wheel drive not to lock in. U can find a thread on here somewhere showing pictures of this. Don't remember where it is.

Everything works correctly in 4wd...

The front diff is open in 2wd and the front wheels spin freely, also the driveshaft spins freely to the 4x4 transfer case.

In 4x4 the driveshatft does not spin freely and everything engages correctly. The acuator moves and 4x4 works great.

In 2wd truck feels like something is rubbing at full lock when turning in or out of a driveway. Also feels like the front diff is locked becuase it feels like one tire is kinda skipping to keep up with the other tire that is spinning more at full lock.

Nothing is rubbing and the whole front end was just replaced by me and it has been aligned correctly.

It just feels weird, something is off somewhere...

Ahh No problem. I've done the same.

4xfour - Are all the bushing on the diff pressed in all the way? Next step would be pulling the cover off the diff.
