Default does your lower control arm look like this?

I found the problem to my previous post:
https://www.f150forum.com/f6/front-a...estion-207769/

I have a 4" suspension lift and my 285/70/17's are rubbing on this part of my lower control arm... (little *** shown in pics sticking out in the front of the arm) What gives, why are 33"s rubbing at full lock with a 4" suspension lift?

Wonder if it has something to do with the amount of back spacing on your wheels

A lot of lift kits say that you can't use stock wheels can cause clearance issues. Might check with the company and see if that's your problem

If you had rims with more negative offset or wider rims they wouldn't rub. Most lifts I've seen say run an 8 inch wide rims with no more than 4.5" of back spacing

That nub is where you put the bottle jack when you need to change your tire.

My tires did the EXACT same thing! And out backroading one night I wound up putting a hole the size of my fist thru the sidewall of my tire so after a very rough night and new tries I bought me some spacers and fixed that problem!
