Default Fog light question

I looked and I know I have seen a thread on this but here we go.

When I turn on my lights and pull the **** for my fogs they work on low beam and turn off on high beam. Is there a way for them to work with both high and low beam or just high beam for that matter?

i remember when i did this mod on my 98, to remove the headlight switch, you pull the **** off and turn it 180 degrees and stick it back on and turn it, and that will release the locking tabs and it should pull right out of the dash.

you still have to splice two wires behind the switch, my 98 did not have auto headlights and that is what i had to do was join those two wires

try this
http://www.f150online.com/forums/art...witch-mod.html

the mod consists of connecting a wire between the white w/ black stipe wire (comes out of the small gray plug) and the brown wire (comes out of the larger gray plug). This powers the foglight switch whenever the parking lights are on.

what year do you have? it looks like 97-99 have a different way of removing the switch compared to 2000-2003, but i think the wiring is the same.

never mind i just saw you got a 97

I did this mod without ever removing the headlight switch or splicing any wires. I just connected a jumper wire between the relays under the hood, I put a toggle switch on mine in case I needed to turn it off for inspection or whatever. Heres a pic of what I did, I'll try to find the original thread that I saw this on.
