Borlas are #1 in sound and performance. You probably have wax in your ears.

 

Im not entirely sure what that means. Why are you comparing the exhaust tone of other trucks with what you think it will sound like? Exactly what is your goal? Do you want it "loud" or do you want it to sound "better"?

I get the whole, OMG Flowmasters vibe...but seriously, this isn't the 90s, you have options and much better options than an atypical reduced flow chambered muffler.

 

Jbrew, the 10 series you can look threw one end of the muffler, and see daylight on the other end. Stock muffler you can't do that.

So are you saying they're not chambered ? I didn't say anything about a factory muffler, - what's your point ? You got one ? What are you trying to learn me?

I didn't say they aren't chambered, what I was saying is they have more flow than stock as there is just about nothing in there. Not near as bad as a glass pack, but not a lot in there.

 

I'm not sure why folks on here are so down on the FMasters. I just got the Super 44 on my truck and it sounds AWESOME and combined with my SCT tuner there is a very noticeable increase in power.
I've also heard Borla and like that as well but I did not want it so loud that I have to listen to it blasting me all the time. Any louder and I'd just drive it into a wall after more than 20 miles of hwy driving. In fact I have a buddy with an 03 K2500 that has some Borla in his truck and it's maddening after to long.

 

Has nothing to do with money. But no, was not and is not the issue. I do have an aftermarket muffler on my truck.
