Iduno, not sure I'd dis Tackle, -it's rumored that his beetle comes from the deepest, darkest part of Africa and is lethal.

That selfy is pretty lethal as well...yikes!

I bought my cousin a Flowmaster 10 series for Xmas, we put it on, and his truck sounds great. He has a '98 F-150 with the 4.6.

I used to be the guy who liked a quiet truck, but now I have to be like the other 16 year old kids lol, his truck sounds good. Mine should come in tomorrow or the next day, I'll post a before and after vid for you.

I knew a guy at my old highschool who had one of these trucks (97-03, idk what engine) and he ran around with straight pipes, and it didn't sound too good. I like the rumble, but when you rev the engine and it pops at you, I hate that. He had that popping noise a lot.

I hear the louder and taller your truck, the smaller your you know what.

It's only what I hear though. Mine is lowered and whisper quiet.
Ahh Tackle, it sounds like you are mad because us kids have more money to spend on out trucks than you did as a kid / do now.

Why not get a muffler that doesnt suck? Replace that rustmaster with a Borla ProXS.

I'll tell yuh. It's chambered and traps gases within the exhaust system. Gases that require more from the engine to push free. That's why they're nick named Slowmasters. Flowmaster does have a good straight thru design/series, -racing mufflers. Can't recall the name of the series, but I'm sure you could find it, if a genuine desire exists. Starts with an L lol. Their mufflers sound good IMO, but some can hurt performance vs improving it.
