Default factory muffler

Any one know the factory muffler pipe size for a 2000 5.4 ?
Looks like the factory muffler shot to hell i need to replace it ?

Yes its a glasspack lol but seriously I never thought glasspacks sound good on a ford, there mainly for Chevy's IMO.

Lol hey I wanted to see what else he had in mind if he didn't do the glasspack. I was tempted though.

I have a glasspack on my truck and it sounds good. Deeper tone when accelerating, and rumbling when slowing down if you leave it in the same gear (standard). I had to enlarge the holes on the ends of my glasspack though to get it to fit over the original tubing.

Only thing is make sure that's the right size glasspack. They come in 2 different lengths, and I believe it's the longer one you want, but double check on that. Direct bolt on otherwise.

I would advise welding no matter what route he goes. Eliminates chances of problems with leaks. Muffler work fine but are usually best for a temporary fix (if you could not get it welded right away)

I put a gibson on my old 87"bronco worked fine so i may just go with that. Just wanted something with a little *****.
