Default Extra Lights???

I live in arkansas and the deer in the road at night is a nightmare...i dont think i can go out at night and not see a deer so im wanting to get more headlights. im wanting 2 behind the grill and 2 on a bull bar. i also already have the normal 2 headlights and 2 fogs lights that are oem.just wondering if i can use all these lights at once wired in as "brights" and if one battery can handle this ? will i need a beefier alternater? and is it even legal to have that many lights in arkansas, i tried to do some reseach on the laws and came up empty. also what would be some good lights to use any must have brands? i know thats alot of questions...lol sorry but any help would be appreciated

Good to see another Arkansas boy on here. I have the setup you're talking about on my truck. It is legal in Arkansas to have them and run them on the highway as long as you are on low beams, just be ready to get bright lighted alot. Its fine to run highs with them on backroads. I would recommend getting hella 500's they are cheap, bright, and slim(all good things in one package) just run each set off its own switch so you can have any combination of lights on at any point. Your battery and alternator should be able to keep up, add any more than 2 sets and it won't . I think I've answered most all your questions there lol
I love the set up, you can see deer eyes way further away now.

Notice the roadsign you couldn't see before. It's out at about 50 yards or so.

Dump the bull bar and buy a ranch hand bumper. More lights will only make the deer blind, and will stop them in their tracks which could be right in front of you. My dad had a ranch hand and hit countless deer and hogs without hardly a scratch to the bumper.

I have an Nfab light bar on my truck right now with 4 6" off road lights on it and love it! I had two behind my grille before, but like this much better. Two of them are aimed straight and the side two are towards the ditch. Bright as day! I should get some night shots too.

Yeah but the point of the lights is to see them out further and be slowed down by the time you get to them. But a big bumper works too, my dad has one on his SuperDuty and we've plowed 2 deer at 50+. The only thing is that there's not a lot of beefy bumper options for these trucks they are most all over $1000

Do you have your lights aimed pretty low? I am only running two lights mounted on my grille guard and they seem to throw light a lot further in front of me than yours show to.

And yes if you plan on running the lights on a two lane highway be prepared to get flashed by on-coming traffic a lot. I have even been flashed by a cop, but luckily never pulled over for it.

The fog lights on the bull bar are aimed low to shine on the road in front of the truck, and the driving lights in the grille are aimed high to shine on the road and ditch up ahead.... The camera on my iPod doesn't do it much justice

Don't know if you saw my latest posts in my build thread, but I just got a Rigid 20" E-Series LED bar for my bull bar. REALLY bright!

Headlights w/ Silverstar Ultras.

Rigid bar

7000 Lumens. I know it's not legal here, but I use them on the back roads until I see another car.
