I tried using search but got no matches. I'm debating doing the console swap and wanted to see pictures of everybody's swap

 

this isn't mine, this is one a guy put up when I had a post about my subs. I wish I could find one at a junk yard around here.

 

^^ I would like to have that top lid on the console black. Can u just paint it ? Or do some f150's come with that top lid black stock

 

idk see why you couldn't paint it, an he's I believe that harley Davidson editions come stock black like that

 

i havent looked anywhere but here. but i really wanna do this mod is it pretty much just pull the old one out and set this one in there or is it a lot more compicated?

Also i have a 2000 extended cab with the center console will an expedition console fit in there??

 

all you do is open the top, take out the black storage bin an there should be some screw don't know what size. you need to do pop the black cup holders out too an there are some more screws to take out. I dont see why it won't fit. I believe the center consoles are the same in the Screw an Scab so it should fit

 

and the other console will slide right in and line up and just screw right in?

 

I havnt done it personally, like I said above but I want to. I believe it should, I don't see why it wouldn't

 

From what I've been told everything lines up fine. Ordered a "mint condition" console from LKQ today. Should be here within 2 days and it was only $30! Lol

 

That won't work with a 4x4 will it?? Won't the shifter be in the way?
