I enjoy mine. It was one of the first options I did to my truck.

Can't imagine my truck without it now.

I'm gonna sell my stock center console if anyone's interested. It's in pretty good shape for 16 years old. I'm not looking to make any real money off it, just cover the cost of shipping and a little beer money. truthfully, I'm not even sure what its Worth. I'd post it in the for sale section but I have to have 25 posts to do so....

PM me if you're interested.

I am getting my console tomorrow from the pick a part and was just wondering for those that have done this before, besides the 2 brackets is there anything else that I will need to get off the expy? Console from a 2000 into a 2001 Screw.

Don't cut the wire harness too short from the console. I had no need for the wiring harness section for the radio and climate controls, but I was able to power the 12v plug on the back.

Also, cut away some carpet from the donner expy. I had to "stuff" the carpet on my truck to reduce the gap between the expy console and my floorboard/center hump.

Thanks. Probably wouldn't have thought about that. I wanted to run 12v power to some switches that I was going to hide in the console for some interior lights so it will help with that to.

Also, on my 98, the fuse for the 12v receptacle is in the engine bay. Before I decided to wire up the 12v plug I had already completely assembled the center console and I was too lazy to take all the way back apart again and I couldn't get to the back of the dash/stock mounted 12v plug so I ended up running a wire through the firewall and "T" tapped the fused wire coming from the fuse block.

My point is, if you plan to provide power to the console make sure you do it AS you install the console, not after like I did. Let us know how it turns out!
