Default Engine Splash Shield

Apparently in my previous post I was calling this part the wrong thing.

Would anyone have a picture of their engine splash shield they might post so I can determine where it fastens etc.? (I'm driving a 2000 F150)

Does the metal skid plate have a particular name other than skid plate? These sound defo like pieces I should obtain from a salvage yard, yeah? Although, the rubber one I seen for sale seems reasonably priced ...?

I realised that I had asked the question incorrectly. I have no clue how to delete the old one?

I wonder if this comes with all of the mounting hardware? Or would you need 500 zip ties to install this?

You actually don't need the shield.

I never thought of the pulley that comes right off the crankshaft from the perspective of a massive Miami puddle. I went under the truck and could easily see how this occurs. If I hit a puddle at a low speed, immediately there'll be intermittent squealing. In lieu of that and in lieu of the direct exposure to any puddle, or mud, why do you say that I wouldn't need it?

My truck doesn't have one and I have never experienced any squealing. Are your inner fenders in good shape?

They are indeed. I have a 3" lift and I'm running 34s. I'm presuming that is changing the dynamic significantly!? Still, if I go under the truck, the first thing I see is that pulley which I can easily touch. It would appear that it'd get the brunt of anything I splash into and through...
