Nope, didn't have the time or funds for that. Just Mini Maxx, S&B intake, and 5" Flo~Pro stainless straight pipe.

Dodge got a lot of credit for that thing, but like you say, it was an AMC designed motor. Here's a couple pics. I've got more if you're interested.

sweet man! yeah I've considered it, but right now I'm just not wanting to get into the lower end. I want it to at least be up and running again. later down the road when it needs a lower end rebuild and a valve job (since I didn't get one this time to prevent any issues with rings) I might go that route.

my neighbor Roger up the street has a stroker in his jeep, and man that thing sounds nice. I love that deep tone it has.

but yeah, I wouldn't mind more pictures

Is the 225hp tune the safe limit for those with no studs? That's rear wheel correct? That's reaching the transmission limit too lol if rear wheel

all those ratings are flywheel estimates

If he's getting 225 hp gain to the rear wheels on his dually, sign me up

I don't know if it actually puts down that much power lol but it's a very stout tune. I don't really rag on it much so it should be fine. It has a 300 tune which is even hotter, but it's not good to run. I've made a few pulls with it and it's backed itself down from EGT's every time. All the guys I know in town that have had issues out of their 6.4's have caused them by running it at 300 constantly.

I think people are just overly cautious with the 6.4.
Most of our A&I plants run 6.4 service trucks with very little issues.

Yeah as long as you watch the boost and the fuel systems you'll be in decent shape. Their factory head bolts hold up much better than the 6.0's did, so it's not completely necessary to stud when you delete unless you're really planning to be beating it.

Yeah that just blows my mind when you think about it. One file adding 300hp..that's 650hp and like 1100tq..gotta love it. They even have 350hp tunes. The 6.0 never got close to that being limited in the fuel delivery department from stock. I can't wait haha.

From what I've read the 6.4 runs out of fuel up that high as well. My fuel cap makes a big hissing sound when I open it up if I've been driving hard so you can tell the lift pump has really been working. But I am beyond impressed with the power of the truck with the simple setup it has. It has no issues getting the heavy rig out of the hole. My quickest 0-60 time was a 6.9, which is pretty quick to me for a 11,000lb truck
